Community Rules
Lungli is a place to practise languages with real people. These rules keep it friendly and safe for everyone, wherever they are from. Breaking them can lead to a warning, a suspension, or the end of your account.
Be kind and patient
- Everyone here is learning. Correct mistakes the way you would like to be corrected.
- No insults, mockery or bullying โ about someone's language, accent, country, religion, race, gender, sexuality, age, disability or anything else.
- No threats, and no encouraging harm to anyone.
Keep it about language
- Lungli is not a dating app. No flirting with people who have not asked for it, no sexual messages, no requests for photos.
- No advertising, selling, recruiting or asking for money.
- No spam: do not send the same message to many people or repeat yourself in a group.
Protect yourself and others
- Do not ask for or share phone numbers, addresses, social-media handles, email addresses or links. Groups block these automatically.
- Never send money to someone you met here, whatever the reason.
- Do not share anyone else's private information or messages.
Be yourself
- Use your real age. Lungli is for people aged 16 and over; people aged 16 and 17 are matched only with each other.
- One account each. Do not pretend to be someone else, and do not come back with a new account after a suspension.
Nothing illegal or harmful
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. We report it to the authorities.
- No promotion of violence, self-harm, hatred or illegal activity.
If something goes wrong
- Block anyone you do not want to hear from: they will no longer be able to write to you or find you.
- Report a person, a message or a profile from its menu. Reports are private โ the other person is not told who reported them.
- The Lungli team reviews reports and may remove content, warn, suspend or remove an account.
Thank you for helping to make Lungli a good place to learn.
